Time and traffic passed it by until new owners took it on and reimagined the whole place from the wiring out. They kept everything worth keeping, the low profile, the exterior-access layout, the porch that runs end to end, and rebuilt what needed rebuilding. What emerged is a small lodge that reads as honest and current at once: a place that remembers what it was and works the way you want it to now. It sits at the edge of Luray, a Shenandoah Valley town that has always been a gateway, close enough to walk into and far enough to feel the quiet.
