About Casselman Motel
The Casselman is a family-owned property, run by the Miller family, that traces back to an inn built in 1842 to serve travelers on the National Road. The historic inn, its country restaurant, and a scratch bakery still anchor the site, and the single-level motel was added to give travelers a comfortable, modern place to sleep just steps behind them. The whole operation carries the Pennsylvania Dutch and Amish character of this corner of western Maryland.
