About Arka Motel
The building dates to the mid-century roadside era, a simple cinderblock motel serving travelers near Beaver Lake. Its current owners took it down to the studs in 2024, a renovation captured on HGTV's Fixer to Fabulous, and rebuilt it as a design-forward lakeside motel. The mid-century lines were kept and celebrated, then paired with new kitchens, baths, and grounds.

Rooms are done in a warm mid-century-modern style, spacious and uncluttered, each with a kitchenette, mini fridge, microwave, and coffee, a big TV, and comfortable beds. The two-bedroom suite adds a lake view and room for a group.

The grounds are built for a lake weekend. There is a seasonal pool, two separate fire-pit areas with Adirondack chairs and string lights and firewood provided, and dedicated boat parking. Best of all, a mountain-bike trail begins right on the property and links into the Ozark riding the region is known for.
